OUR FIRM
The firm was established from practical experience with situations that fall outside the scope of standard private banking. In many cases, clients do not primarily face an investment question, but a structural one. Assets are held across multiple jurisdictions, ownership is fragmented, or existing arrangements no longer align with regulatory, tax, or personal circumstances.
In such situations, portfolio management alone is not sufficient. What is required first is a clear and feasible structure.
Our work is centered on bringing order to this complexity. This involves designing and implementing structures that are not only effective at the outset, but remain stable, understandable, and manageable over time.
Clients typically come to Zacharias with situations that are both sensitive and complex, and that cannot be resolved through standard private banking channels.
These are not routine mandates. They are often situations where existing arrangements no longer work, or where the consequences of getting the structure wrong are significant.
Typical situations include:
In many cases, multiple aspects are interconnected, and addressing one issue in isolation is not sufficient.
APPROACH AND EXECUTION
In practice, this often means working through inconsistencies between jurisdictions, aligning different counterparties, and adapting structures as regulatory or personal circumstances change. The emphasis is on execution discipline and ensuring that structures function as intended in practice.
Zacharias operates as a senior, partner-led firm.
Clients work directly with experienced professionals. Engagements are selective and typically long-term.
Investment management is integrated into the broader structure, with decisions made in the context of liquidity requirements, jurisdictional constraints, and overall objectives.
The emphasis is on continuity, discretion, and consistent oversight.
OUR NAME
We chose the name for its linguistic meaning rather than for any historical or religious reference. In our work, this reflects a simple idea: clients and their situations should not be treated as isolated transactions.
Many of the matters we deal with are sensitive and evolve over time. They require continuity, attention to detail, and a clear understanding of the client’s overall situation, not just a single mandate.
The name serves as a reminder of that responsibility: to approach each situation with care, and to remain consistent and attentive over time.
